PROFESSIONAL
I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University and I am working toward licensure in Virginia. I completed my internships in both grief and addiction recovery counseling. I have three years of experience in the area of behavior counseling with children and adolescents as well as three additional years as a peer counselor with a faith-based crisis pregnancy center.
SPECIALTIES
I am drawn to helping children, youth, and adults who have experienced loss or trauma. I am trained in a process called Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for those who are experiencing difficulties that may be rooted in trauma.
HOW I HELP
I like to encourage and support my clients by helping them embrace their strengths while working through difficulties. I also may provide care for clients who find it is important that their faith is taken into consideration when entering into a therapeutic relationship.
