Elena Monti is a licensed clinical social worker focusing on the treatment of children, adolescents, families and group therapy. Elena received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois in Human Development and Family Studies in 1996. Elena went on to graduate school at Norfolk State University and graduated with a Master’s degree in 2000. She has been working with children and families in the mental health field for over 15 years and has been licensed since 2005. Elena has worked with children and adolescents in various settings including hospitals, schools and residential treatment centers. She was also employed for several years as an in-home therapist working with children that were at risk of being removed from the home. Elena has experience working with several populations of children to include autism spectrum disorder, grief issues, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues and developmental disabilities. Her work also includes working with military families, postpartum depression, families of divorce and parenting issues.
