Marilyn Holland

“Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and recieve without judgement; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship”
– Brene Brown

Marilyn Holland, Intern
Intern, Marriage and Family Therapy

Currently enrolled in Master of Arts program at Northcentral University (NCU) for Marriage and Family Therapy. Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Argosy University in June 2013.

Individuals, Couples, Families, Adolescents and children of all ages. I especially like working with families in crisis, military families, blended families (step or adopted), and teens/children with behavioral issues and/or trauma,”PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator” for pre-marital counseling

My philosophy and approach to helping couples and families is to name and disrupt the patterns which keep them stuck or hindered from thriving and living their best life. I believe that healing is in creating safe and healthy relationships. When we strengthen the bonds of relationships, even with self, we become free to trust, explore, and contribute more fully to the world. My goal is to focus on helping clients see their issues through a relational/systemic lens and experience a new way of attuning and responding to one another.
