I am a multifaceted counselor with a diverse educational and professional background. I was active duty in the United States Air Force and still continue to serve in the reserve component as an Aerospace Medical Technician/Immunization Technician. I earned an Associate in Allied Health Science from Air University in addition to an EMT licensure. Shortly after I transferred to the reserves, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. After teaching in the Onslow County School System in North Carolina, I went on to obtain a Master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University. I have worked in Child Protective Services in Investigations and Assessments, at a large Neuropsychiatric center in Eastern NC, and in private practice in both North Carolina and Virginia. In addition to being an LPC and an EMT, I also hold certifications for CPR/BLS Instructor, Hearing Conservation technician, Stress and Trauma Care with a Military application, and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response.
I have experience working with at risk youth, children of divorce, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, substance abuse, self-esteem issues, military family concerns, sexual abuse, parenting skills, and PTSD. I work with children, teens, young adults, adults, families, and couples.

MORE ABOUT ME
When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with my family, traveling, attending military training, and working on one of my many hobbies. I love the beach and most importantly…laughing! Laughing is by far my favorite pastime!
